A Word from Andrew Iannone

Hey PBHA!
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Andrew Iannone and, this year, I am joining PBHA’s full-time staff as one of PBHA’s Non-Profit Management Fellows! I’m extremely excited for this opportunity to continue working with the organization and working with student leaders, both old and new!
My photo should tell you two very important pieces of information about me. One: I lived in Mather and I’m still a bit obsessed with it. I was HoCo Chair my Junior year and I’m currently going through severe concrete withdrawals, knowing I’m not moving in this year. Two: I graduated from Harvard a mere 3 months ago with a degree in Human DevelopmentalĀ and Regenerative Biology and a Secondary in Economics. I was also a Pre-Med student, so for all you doctor-hopeful public servants, feel free to chat with me about PBHA or LS1b, I don’t mind!
While at PBHA, I directed Alternative Spring Break: New York City as well as the Alternative Spring Breaks program as a whole. I was a member of the 2011 Officers Team as the organization’s Student Development Chair, responsible for running PBHA’s comprehensive set of trainings, like Tutor Certificate and Program Management Certificate. Finally, this past year, I had the honor of being a SUP Director, working with the Cambridge Youth Enrichment Program (CYEP)! I directed CYEP’s Newtowne Court Site this summer, working with fifty 1st through 5th grade students in East Cambridge.
Feel free to come visit me any time on the 3rd floor of PBH to discuss program, medicine, reality TV, or whatever you’d like! =]
