Supports Treasurer

The PBHA Financial Administrator is responsible for working closely with the treasurer to oversee the financial management of the organization. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts with outside financial institutions and Harvard, preparing for the audit, and maintaining personnel records for PBHA employees. PBHA’s Financial Administrator also supervises and reviews the work of the Accounting Assistant and issues financial reports.

Before Barbara was married, she worked as an editor for a new series of elementary arithmetic textbooks designed especially for inner-city kids. She then joined her husband in a business importing and retailing Scandinavian furniture. After they closed the business, she went into non-profit financial management. Barbara can coach students on non-profit finances and facets of international commerce.
