Coordinates training and reflection sessions for PBHA and PSN students; supports student leaders in evaluating PBHA programs.

The Coordinator of Training, Reflection, and Evaluation establishes training certificate programs open to all volunteers in the Public Service Network and ensures PBHAs mission of deep reflection on service experiences. Jesse works closely with student officers, student directors, and Directors of Programs to guide the program assessment and improvement process. He reports to PBHA’s Deputy Director.

Jesse studied at Wesleyan University and Lesley University and lives in Boston. He brings passion and experience working with students of all ages and diverse backgrounds, and empowering tomorrow’s service leaders.He most recently coordinated a city-wide teen internship program in Boston Public Schools called Leaders through Education, Action & Hope (LEAH) and worked extensively on out-of-school time program training, curricula, and quality. Jesse loves to travel, bike, ski, volunteer, and play baseball – all, ideally, with youth!

Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA) is no longer accepting resumes for the position of Coordinator of Training, Reflection, and Evaluation.

All students, alumni, and parents are welcome to join us for a leisurely run along the Charles River! Refreshments will be provided by PBHA.

Those of you willing to use this run as an opportunity to raise much needed funds to support PBHA’s more than 80 social service and social action programs can easily set-up a fundraising page with Firstgiving. Anyone raising at least $100 – for example, 10 people giving $2 per kilometer/$10 total, etc. will receive a much sought-after PBHA T-shirt!

Here’s how – it is really easy and will take only a couple of minutes:

2. Click the Make your own fundraising page for Phillips Brooks House Association link. Click Sporting for type of event, then Running, and enter the date of October 17, 2010.
3. Enter 5k for PBHA under Can’t Find Your Event?
4. Enter your information and receive the Web address for your fundraising page.
5. Personalize your page and then email your contacts!
6. Donations will come automatically to PBHA and your donors will be thanked – including a tax-deductible receipt for their donation!
