Supports Advocacy and Housing Program Group Officer; Homelessness, Advocacy, Roxbury, and Dorchester Programs

The PBHA Directors of Programs (four in all) support student PBHA program directors. They ensure that program run effectively, responsibly, and safely. They work in conjunction with program directors to plan for the semester, do site visits, and write evaluations of the program. Finally, they provide institutional memory as program directors change each year. They report directly to PBHA’s Deputy Director.

As an undergraduate at Harvard, David worked through PBHA in Columbia Point Special Summers program, Harvard Big Brother mentoring youth, and the Highland Park Free School. David has worked as a teacher in Boston Public Schools, a Board Member for the National Low Income Housing Coalition, Executive Director of the Tenant’s Policy Council Inc., Executive Director of the Franklin Field Task Force Inc., community relations specialist for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, and Community Organizer for the Committee for Boston Public Housing Inc. At PBHA is responsible for most of the programs dealing with housing and advocacy, and geographically he works with programs in Dorchester and Roxbury.
