PBHA’s 17th Annual SUP Auction
Join us for the online Summer Urban Program Auction!
More details coming soon!
Our SUP families pay the affordable rate of $140 per camper for seven weeks of camp, only 10% of the full cost per camper, and we never turn away families who are unable to pay – help us reach our goal of covering the camp fee for 100 campers this summer!
Our campers and their families need and deserve access to high quality summer programming. Each summer SUP provides 850+ low-income youth with the opportunity to (1) engage in academically enriching lesson plans to prevent summer learning loss (2) participate in activities that promote social-emotional development and (3) attend exciting recreational field trips with their peers. Additionally, SUP employs 100 local Boston and Cambridge area teens to co-teach in classrooms alongside undergraduate staff who gain invaluable work experience. We are proud to say that many of the teens and college staff who run our programs grew up in our camps and come back to serve in their communities.
To run SUP we rely on student staff fundraising efforts (to help cover the cost of their salaries) and sponsorships from generous donors. As our anticipated costs rise each year in accordance with the MA minimum wage increase, PBHA remains committed increasing SUP’s budget to adequately pay youth a living wage. We need your support to help make summer successful!
Donors can sponsor SUP programming at the following levels:
