For Students

STRIDE Undergraduate Scholarship Program
Applications now open for the 2016-2017 term.

Scholarships are awarded to income-eligible undergraduate students to support a consistent, year-round commitment to service. Any enrolled full-time college student eligible for Federal Work-Study, significant financial aid, or is from a low-income background is invited to apply. Learn more.

PBHA’s Stride Fellowships are intended for Harvard seniors who were devoted to service as undergraduates, and who demonstrate a future lifetime commitment to service. The spirit of the award is to provide fellows with the opportunity to put their vision for social change into action. Learn more.

Director – Summer Urban Program

Senior Counselor – Summer Urban Program

Applications for this summer are now close, please check back in December.

SUP seeks college students to work as senior counselors in one of 10 SUP camps. Each senior counselor will lead a classroom of 10 children for seven weeks during the summer, support a high school-age junior counselor, and contribute to the overall operations of camp. Learn more.

PBHA’s junior counselor program is administrated through PBHA’s Leaders!, a year-long community leadership program for high school-aged youth in the Boston area. Junior counselors work with college-age senior counselors to lead classrooms of 10 children for seven weeks in the summer. Learn more.

Director of Programs
PBHA’s Director of Programs has responsibilities in two primary areas: a. direct oversight of assigned programs and b. support of cross program initiatives. Program assignments are organized by community and based on risk level and total number of volunteer hours.  Learn more.

Nonprofit Management Fellow
PBHA’s Nonprofit Management Fellowship provides recent graduates with the knowledge and experience necessary to pursue a nonprofit management career. The fellow will support PBHA’s work in areas including fundraising, communications, special events, and alumni outreach. Learn more.
