PBHA’s Student Labor Action Movement (SLAM) organizes with workers and their unions to advocate for labor justice on Harvard's campus, in the Cambridge and Boston areas, and in the broader world. SLAM maintains dedicated and mutual relationships with members of campus unions to learn about their working conditions and to strategize collective campaigns to achieve workers' demands of our university. We are committed to leveraging our voices as undergraduate students to educate one another, to raise the political consciousness of our campus, and to advocate for the many other social justice issues that intersect with labor.

SLAM campaigns have been directed toward worker and labor issues on campus and on a national level; they include the Living Wage Campaign and the Ethical Investments and Contracting, as well as campaigns initiated by local unions and community organizations. SLAM members participate in and help lead campaigns, as well as organize new ones. For more information about SLAM's campaigns, visit their Facebook page.
