PBHA’s 2020 #GivingTuesday Challenge

Donate to PBHA by Tuesday, December 1st to double your gift!

During this season of thanks, alumnus Michael Schwartz ‘86 has generously offered to match every donation that PBHA receives for our #GivingTuesday campaign up to $10,000! Donate by Tuesday, December 1st at the link below to receive a matching gift that will directly support the operations of programs providing adult services, advocacy, youth mentorship, afterschool & in-school enrichment, health and shelter services, summer programming, and much more!

Although the challenges of COVID-19 have certainly impacted our programming and services, we continue to find ways to show up and support our communities. We created a contingency plan in the spring that allowed us to serve 547 youth and families with resources and summer academic and enrichment programming through the Summer Urban Program (SUP); extend the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter services for additional weeks; and keep the Y2Y Harvard Square Shelter for young adults open throughout the pandemic.

During the fall, more than 35 of our programs remain open to our communities because we believe that when inequality and resource gaps increase, we should step up to fill those needs. As we look ahead to 2021, we are committed to keeping our programs and services accessible to our communities. We ask for your support in donating and sharing our fundraiser as we look forward to the coming year!
