PBHA’s Deaf Awareness Club Program is a student-run organization dedicated to raising awareness about Deaf Culture among the Harvard Community. DAC offers a weekly ASL Table and a wide range of educational and social events. DAC members attend Deaf events around the greater Boston area and form relationships with members of the Deaf community.

ASL Table

The best way to learn sign language is to use it!

ASL Table offers students the opportunity to practice using their ASL in an informal setting; DAC welcomes signers of all levels to attend these weekly dinners every Tuesday 6-7pm @ Mather House Dining Hall.

Education

DAC provides financial support for Harvard students who attend Deaf events around the Greater Boston area. We cover transportation fees to Deaf events and Deaf Culture educational events at Boston University, Northeastern University, etc. DAC is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to education about Deaf Culture and can form connections in the Deaf Community.
