[WATCH] PBHA's Y2Y Harvard Square: The Homeless Shelter for Young People, By Young People

An estimated 1 in 10 young people experience homelessness - but many are afraid to stay in adult homeless shelters. Y2Y Harvard Square is a student-run homeless shelter where young people help other young people experiencing homelessness. They specialize in meeting their specific needs and providing support for them to get back on their feet in a positive and safe space. In this documentary, we meet a young person experiencing homelessness and learn how Y2Y is helping him. We also meet the students in charge of it as they explain what makes homeless shelters for young people so important. Would you like to help?
