Story #51: Lee Smith, In Remembrance of Her Legacy

Lee Smith, who dedicated over 43 years to PBHA, left an unforgettable mark on the Harvard community. Joining PBHA in 1957, she became a guiding force, known for her warmth, intellect, and unwavering support for countless students and volunteers.

Throughout her tenure, Lee was described as "the rudder of the organization," providing stability and insight during transformative times at Harvard. Her colleagues remembered her as both a mentor and a friend, balancing competence with kindness.

Outside of her professional life, Lee was deeply devoted to her family, especially her nieces, nurturing them with love and shared experiences. She embodied the spirit of connection, encouraging others to forge relationships and create memories.
