Kashish Bastola is a student at Harvard College and serves as the Community Organizing Chair for PBHA. As a passionate advocate for public education, he works with Harvard CIVICS and HARMONY, promoting civic and arts education in local public elementary schools. Kashish is from Texas and considers the Gulf South his home. His advocacy is rooted in this region and he cares a lot about storytelling and the arts as they intersect with justice. Outside of PBHA, you can find Kashish with the Radcliffe Institute Student Advisory Board, Asian American Association, Nepali Student Association, Ghungroo, the Harvard Whistlers Society, and the Affirmative Action Coalition. Kashish is super pumped to get Harvard students engaged in community advocacy this year!
